What will the end be like?
Quick drop in. I read an article today called “We need to talk about dying, and what it means for life to end.” The article encourages people to talk about death and dying, and the hospice. Like it says here in this article, “hospice care” doesn’t mean you no longer “fight” the disease or “fight for life.” Instead, accepting hospice care gives you the best support to help you in your end of life journey.
Odd one out
From a “normal” point of view, I would probably be considered a terrible daughter in law for even discussing death with my in-laws. My parents have talked to me about death from a young age so they’re fine with it. However, my point is, there really needs to be a change so that the person talking about death and trying to help prepare for death is not the ‘odd one out.’ After all, 100% of us will, sooner or later, face death.
Wishing you all the best.
